  Octobeer Fest – Oct. 14

  Attendees will have the opportunity to sample German-inspired food, beer and wine while experiencing different aspects of the culture.

  Everyone is invited to compete in the Best Dressed Lederhosen and Dirndl Contest on Friday night.

  Two new high-energy bands will be featured this year for a pop/rock theme, including the Continentals, a band with a wide repertoire specializing in different ethnic styles of polka and waltz, and Bavarski, playing everything from Chicago-style Polish polka to rockin’ Oktoberfest party music. Also featured are traditional German dancers, craft and merchandise vendors, street performers, dancing and experiences for both children and adults!

  WHEN:         Friday, October 14 – Saturday, October 15

  TIME:           Friday 5 – 11 p.m., Saturday noon – 8 p.m.

  WHERE:       Old Town Winchester Loudoun Street Mall

  COST:          Advance admission tickets and day-of general admission is $10.  Advance tasting tickets includes admission, commemorative OTW glass and 5 tastings for $15.  Tasting packages purchased day of the event are $5 for 3 tastings and include a commemorative OTW glass after the purchase of the $10 general admission.  Attendees may also purchase glasses of beer or wine for $5 each.  Drink proceeds benefit Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Northwest Virginia.

  
  

  Children 12 and under are free with a ticketed adult.
